The yellow trail is a single track trail in the Wissahickon Park that runs along the west side of the park and is noted as the longest established hiking trail, often cited around 7.89 miles.

The American goldfinch is a small, acrobatic finch found across North America, recognized by the bright yellow plumage of breeding males and their bouncy, undulating flight pattern. Primarily eating seeds from weeds like thistles and sunflowers, they are common visitors to backyard feeders, particularly in winter. Unlike many birds, they nest in mid-summer to align with the peak availability of seeds, often forming small flocks in fields, roadsides, and open woodland edges.
